E1 No 109 ‘Strasbourg’
E1 No 100 ‘Calvados’
E1 No 135 ‘Foligno’
E2 no 102
E1 ‘Foligno’ was built in 1879. It was one of 10 of the class to be converted to 0-6-2 radial tank E1R (1928) for use on west country lines. It was withdrawn in 1954.
The model is a ‘pre-owned’ white-metail kit. It has a scratchbuilt chassis of similar design to ‘Strasbourg’ but with Mashima motor and High Level Models gearbox. Pick-up is via split axles.
The model is in an earlier guise than the photo above, with a brass number plate, small LB&SCR lettering, and lacking coal rails.
